An interdisciplinary player, Miri brings a range of skills including concept development and research, facilitation of brainstorming sessions, interpretation and writing, marketing, and events management.


With a background in museum, gallery and informal education, Miri has a well developed sense of audience needs and expectations. Miri’s diverse experience includes positions in interpretation, education, public programming and project management at some of New Zealand’s leading and most progressive museums, galleries, visitor centres, historic sites and educational organisations. Miri’s commercial work includes the development of marketing and brand development for varied clients. This range of experience coupled with Miri’s broad skill sets and engaging personality allows her to contribute widely to project teams.


Selected recent projects include:


- Research and interpretation for Blue Water Black Magic: A Tribute to Sir Peter Blake for the New Zealand National Maritime Museum and Te Papa Tongarewa Museum of New Zealand.

-Concept development, interpretation and writing of Art Explorer packs:public art and sculpture trails for families and children in Wellington for the Wellington City Council and City Gallery Wellington.
