Vicky Tzioumis

Vicky has extensive experience in editing scientific papers and reports for publication in International Journals. Vicky recently co-edited and contributed to a major report describing key species groups found on the east coast of Australia (prepared for the NSW Department of Environment and water Resources).

Vicky is highly organised and an effective communicator.  She has managed interdisciplinary projects involving the scientific community within NSW Universities and State and Federal Government Departments.

She is currently involved in co-ordinating a research project whose main objectives are to improve the teaching and learning of undergraduate Biology through the use of novel research into the definition of a Threshold Concept in Biology.

She has a PhD in marine ecology (University of Sydney) and a broad knowledge of the natural sciences.
